The Lotus pod was one of my very first carvings, I am intrigued by their shape and colours. The lotus transverse section is an extrapolation of the lotus pod. The seeds of the lotus are also paraticularly beautiful … Seeds themselves are, for me, the ultimate vessel for life. Seeds are “where it all starts”, a complete store of all the information needed to engender growth toward full realisation of the individual.
