Materials : 7 layers of acrylics (no black), powdered chalk paint on canvas.
Hanging : Riveted holes and ready to hang, on nine nails (nails provided).

I have visually changed the weighting on this flag to emphasize the people, not the countries.
There is a saying often held aloft in NZ.
“What is the most important thing in the world?
It is people. It is people. It is people.”

I was invited to join a joint exhibition by Village Arts Gallery, called ‘Flag It’, to express our interpretation of a flag. (This is a bit of a social political statement by me, normally a subject I leave well enough alone :-) )
